the difference among editions of SQL server 2005

Dear experts/gurus,
I have a problem to find out what are the difference among the edition of SQL server 2005 that are really distinct one another, for example standard edition with enterprise edition, developer edition with enterprise and standard etc. Are there any sources to know that ?
I did not mean to test you but it is purely based on un understandingI appreciate your answers. TIA
