Tool for converting DTS package to SSIS

Hello,
Which tool could be used for conversion of DTS package to SSIS?
Thanks.
Refer to the SQL 2005 books online for the topic ‘Migrating Data Transformation Services Packages’ for more information. Satya SKJ

There is a tool released by microsoft.
But many occasions, I had to rewrite whole thing again for SSIS. —————————————-

Only basic packages can migrate but if it has any transformation or activex scripts it will not work… Until you recreate your packages as ssis packages you can install dts addon on SQL 2005 machine. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/…60-a13c-4479-9b91-9e8b9d835cdc&displaylang=en

That is another compulsion from Microsoft to work with SSIS and fading out the DTS, I feel in order to get latest features you should get used to newer products. Satya SKJ
