Transfer Role

How can I copy or tranfer a user defined role from on db to another?

Good afternoon,
Have you tried scripting it?
EM => select database => All tasks=>Generate SQL Scripts => Options=>’Script database users and database roles’

… and another simplest way is to run SP_ADDROLE with the rolename specified in the source database. Satya SKJ
