Using SSIS, how is it possible to transfer the content of an xml file into an xml/varchar(max) field of a table in sql server 2005?
Thanks

Yes but do not want to use VB.
I am using sql server 2005.
Thanks
XML Bulk load deals with loading up the data initially into SQL server. To update/delete, try thishttp://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa258671(SQL.80).aspx. As you know SQL Server 2005 has native XML datatype that you can store the whole xml doc in a sql table column without breaking it up and saving it as a table. Satya SKJ
