Two Instances of SQL Server 2005
Hi, I am trying to analysis the pros and cons of having two instance of SQL Server on the same box.My main parameter of analysis are Disk Space,Available Memory,Performance and maintenance. Please let me know your input. Thanks and RegardsRavi K
If you have higher specification of those 3 specified above then I don’t see any problem to have 2 instances. Also you need to consider the database growth, application user base and growth over a period of time. Satya SKJ

Maintainance will be easy if you have two instance in one PC. but you need to increase your hradware resources for that. —————————————-
