Update Statistics

Hi.
I have done update statistics for one table, unfortunately i did the same thing onceagain to that table. Is anything effect that table or not ?

You can run Update statistics for n no of times thats what auto update statistics option in DB do. This will only update the stats and nothing to worry. It’s better to be with time i.e. Updates.

Its nothing but you are wasting server resources by performing same thing, if that UPDATE STATS is locking the processess then you may be at risk of blocking. Satya SKJ
