VSTS Error

I am getting following error when bringing up VSTS: Package Load Failure Package ‘Visual Studio XML Editor Package’ has failed to load properly ( GUID = {87569308-4813-40A0-9CD0-D7A30838CA3F} ). Please contact package vendor for assistance. Application restart is recommended, due to possible environment corruption. Would you like to disable loading this package in the future? You may use ‘devenv /resetskippkgs’ to re-enable package loading. any ideas?

By any chance you have .net older version installed on this server? MohammedU.

dont know. how do I tell?

See under Add/remove program and see what version of .net framework is installed. Also try removing .net 1.1 and rerun the ISO file for Visual studio to reinstall afresh. Satya SKJ
