What is sql profile and to how to assign profiles

There are plenty of articles in the web if you can search
aaronsandy,
you’re asking a whole lot of questions these days. Most of them are considered FAQ’s which have been answered a million times before. A simple search in BOL, here on the site or even via Google would have returned very good answers. Remember please, that we all here on the fora do this in our spare time because we all share a passion for SQL Server. But seeing someone like you abusing this spirit to a certain extend is annoying and actually keeps people from replying to your questions, even if they know the answer. Nobody is here to do your homework. Asking for this is a very unprofessional behaviour. If you have a serious problem, you’re more than welcome to ask here, but please refrain from asking further questions in the way you did the last couple of days. Please keep that in mind before you post here next time!
And, please read thishttp://www.petri.co.il/how_to_ask_a_question.htm before you post a question next time. —

I agree with Frank in this case as you can see all of us are here to help the people out. In case if you are after granular information on SQL server then we suggested many times before to refer to the books and google, also searching the forum sections will give more information. I belive Frank’s link has spoken more than what is needed. Satya SKJ

I really applogise for my FAQ’s kinds of questions.I have posted this kinds of queries as every time I thaught that I will get much good and timely response..perhaps better than goggling for it.Actually this kind of FAQs generally comes to my mind while I read some whitepapers.
Initially I look into BOL but if I cant understand it well,I post it on this forum with a hope to get some real world example.
I really appreciate for the kind of help I recived from you guys.
I have gone through Frank’s link and understand the basics of posting in discussion forums.
I will keep these in mind before posting and post only necesary questions.
Aaron Appreciate your response in this case and hope you will get to the level what you wanted in SQL Server arena. Satya SKJ
