why xp_makecab is not included in Sql Server 2005?

Does anyone know why xp_makecab is not included as extended stored procedure in Sql Server 2005? It works perfect in Sql Server 2000, and now I have an issue in Sql server 2005.
Is there any other xp that replaced xp_makecab? I would really appreciate any help in this matter
It was undocumented and this procedure still exists but in resource database which is not accessible for regular use… unless you use DAC option… xp-makecab procedure used in master..sp_copysubscription procedure…Just run the helptext you can see the code… MohammedU.

This is the one of the reasons you should not use undocumented stored procedures or XPs, as they tend to drop or even change in behaviour how it works. Satya SKJ
