I just noticed that after windows reboot (and we have a task to do this daily)
some services and some scheduled task will not start because password incorrect
Why would that be?

Did you change something in Windows,ie: promote domain? Luis Martin

I defenetely don’t.
But you just said what I keep thinking for a couple of days.
I keep thinking about some policy that might have been changed.

I think they are dependent on some account for starting up and the password for the account has changed. Gaurav

Ensure the login used for MSSQLServer & SQLAgent services is secure and specified correctly when its used anywhere else. To know the status of this job refer to SQLAgent log and can take help of PROFILER to track the activity. HTH Satya SKJ

They do depend on user acount but it didn’t changed.
And even if it did, I am reentering this login everytime to start the services.
But every other reboot service reporting "cannot start because of login failure"
I also login into computer with the same username and password that being used
for this services and scheduled tasks that cannot start after reboot.
What is the reason behind rebooting the Server every now and then?
Are there any recent changes to the windows & SQL? Satya SKJ
