WMI with SQL 2005

Querying the Win32_PerfRawData_MSSQLServer_SQLServerGeneralStatistics WMI class on a SQL 2005 server returns a ridiculously high number for UserConnections – like 34282428956712. This works fine on SQL 2000. Does anybody know a formula for converting this counter to a meaningful value on SQL2k5?

Not much information available on WMI with SQL 2005 recently, probably you would get more if you can in WMI related newsgroups. Satya SKJ
