write-back / write-thru

Hello! On our raid controller we can choose between write-back and write-thru. I have read that write-back could cause corrupt data with use with sql-servers.
So most tips says that write-back should be turned off, but does that mean I should choose write-thru? Should I choose write-thru instead?
Write Policy: Default is "Write-Back" (also have "Write-thru" available) If you have a controller that supports write-back caching, you should make sure that you have a battery backup. The backup unit will preserve the contents of the controller’s onboard RAM even when the power fails, so you won#%92t lose data due to a sudden outage. Note that even with a backup battery, you can still lose data—say, if the controller itself fails and you have to pull it—but a backup unit is a good safety measure nonetheless.
If not choose write-thru only.
