xp_loginconfig and setting "authentication" mode

hi there,

is there any "off-line" way to set up the SQL Server authentication mode? (Mixed, Windows ..)

All I get is the "xp_loginconfig" which is only informative, and being an "extended" procedure, I am not able to decypher it ….[]

thanks a lot![)]
What do u mean by "Off-Line" Way ?
If U mean to QA then u can use following
EXEC xp_loginconfig ‘mixed’ – Login Mode
as "off-line" I meant not using the SQLEM … I want to set it via SP As I stated previously, the xp_loginconfig is just informative, cannot be used to change parameters…

Not seen such statement using QA and only by the way of using EM or tweaking registry key.
To see the current level of auditing, use Enterprise Manager or execute master..xp_loginconfig. Satya SKJ
