Yukon Beta 2

I am not sure what the terms of Beta 2 participation are. Who are the people participating in the same? Why don’t we find out some way of taking participation in Beta 2 and enhance our skill set for the next version of SQL Server. I think we need to plan ahead of time so that we can help other peers in the group when they start facing issues. Let me know what you think. Gaurav

Hi Guys. i am new to this forum. I am interested in being part of yukon Beta 2 Evaluation. Can some body tell me how do I proceed about this -Suresh
I haven’t seen all of the details yet, but beta 2 will be very widely distributed, as compared to beta 1. We should be seeing an announcement soon from Microsoft with the details. —————————–

I’m going to this link atleast once a week to see if they started accepting nominations.

Its end of June 2004 (4 days left) and MS promised release/distribution of Yukon Beta2 and probably we may hear the news soon. I believe few terms will restrict to convey details of any beta participation. Satya SKJ

I just got an e-mail from Microsoft about SQL Server 2005. It said that it is still several weeks away. the e-mail also said that not only will beta testers will receive it, but everyone who is a Miccrosoft MSDN subscriber will also be able to download it from the MSDN downloads site when it becomes available. As you may have already seen on the forum, Microsoft has released SQL Express Edition, a lightweight version of SQL Sever 2005. You can download it at:http://msdn.microsoft.com/sql/express. —————————–
