FTP

I need to download a file from remote server using DTS Package.
i have select File transfer protocol task and set properties of it. i have chosend internet site as source
mentioned the ftp site address.
username pwd are correct
selected the detstination folder C:xxx and when i click on files i cant see any source files to copy to the destination folder. instead it says unable to connect to internet..
help me….

as a test could you open the Command window and type "telnet myipaddress port" and see what response you get.

You can also test by using Internet Explorer or any browser by typing your Ftp adr ftp://…) and see if you have access. Also Check which credentials is being used for your internet connection.! AKTHAR
