Heartbeat and External

Can I have the heartbeat and external network use the same network card? If yes, what are the disadvantages? Thanks,

Yes, both heartbeat and network connections can be sent through the same network card. The downside to this is that you reduce your hardware redundancy. As inexpensive as network cards are, this is a false savings. —————————–
