How to log replication events in SQL Server 2000?

How do I enable tracing for replication, and for distribution agents in specific, in SQL Server 2000. If I need to add any startup parameters, should I restart SQL Server as well. What is the path of the trace files generated? Please advise.
What kind of events you need in the log? Satya SKJ

I need a high level trace to see if there are some issues with replicating tables/stored procs to my subscriber. I’d prefer to include all the available events. I haven’t done this before and I really don’t know what events I’m expected to see in there.
Can someone guide me on this one please?
