How to prevent users from running packages

I believe, by default, any logins can run packages. I’d like to know how to restrict it so that only right users can run packages. I understand one option is to create user password. Are there any undocumented stored procedures or tables that can be used to deny executing packages. Thanks.
I think the best advice I can give you is to read "Handling Package Security in DTS" in BOL and no not any user can run packages it all depends on the ownership of the package and what permissions that person has. If you want to restrict a DTS package to only a limited group, set package passwords thats what there for. Regards Raulie
