how to restore cluster DB on the test enviroment
Hii need to restore the production DB on our test server–both are clustered. someone just installed the clustered server for testing . i’m new for clustering. could anyone tell me what is the procedure to restore DB on test server? thanks, Long
i should make the question above more clear. which server/node i should restart by sqlserv.exe to bring server back in single user in order to restore master DB. on virtual server or on first node? Long
Check Books Online for detailed info on how to restore master database. You should start up the instance you inted to recover in single user mode.
