How to use Execution Plan?

i know to show it using Query Analyzer (CTRL + K) but still not sure what it means
and is it ‘live’ Execution Plan? thanks

I wouldn’t agree it is confusing rather you can tailor made the documentation as per your requirement. In BOL you can search for the term which you’re looking under ‘SEARCH’ tab where you will get plenty of options to choose and read about it. I have no words to say about the content available in this website. Satya SKJ
