Locked Cube
Help urgently needed I have written an OLAP cube on SQL Server 2000 that I access via Terminal Services. This has worked for many months until recently, when I go to edit the cube I get the following message: ‘Unable to open the cube CUBE_NAME’ ‘User MACHINE_NAMEAdministrator on computer MACHINE_NAME has locked CUBE_NAME’ ‘Description: Cube editor has locked cube CUBE_NAME for writing’ I am logged in on the local machine (via terminal services) as Administrator and the MACHINE_NAME’s in the message above are the same as the local machine. What is causing the problem and what is the remedy? Your collective help is most welcome as it is many months of work that is now inaccessable. Thanks AndyThe only way I think right now is to restart Analaysis services.
