Log Shipping & Backup Log

Hello all, How does one CLEAR the log (backup log) if log shipping is enabled? Does the log shipping process perform a backup log after it has applied that log to the secondary db? What operations are NOT allowed if log shipping is ENABLED? Lets say, will doing a bcp in out BREAK log shipping? Thanks.
No need to perform any manual or intermittent truncation of log, once the log is written to disk and transfered to secondary server the log is truncated on the primary server by the process itself. Bulk load operations must be taken care, you have to stop log shipping during this process adn once finished ensure to backup and restore database on secondary server. Satya SKJ
