Log Shipping Not responding
Hi, I am trying to setup log shipping between 2 servers where i specify a datbase backup on the primary and then initalize this on the secondary. I ran into errors and found an article on microsoft that asked me to clean up some log_shipping tables using certain SP’s. After this i started the maintenance plan all over again and it started backing up the source database to restore on the secondary. Its been over an hour and i see a NOT RESPONDING on the wizard . Please assist. How do i know if the process is still running.ThanksUnder Enterprise Manager check Current activity –> Process info for details of this task. Ensure there are no network issues between primary and secondary SQL server and keep the service pack levels & hotfixes similar to each other.
Refer to SQL server error log for any information. Satya SKJ
