LogShipping-logins

I have created my LS standby db in a secondary server. But, I have not transferred all my logins. I was accessing the standby db using the ‘sa’ account to query the tables (in between restores ofcourse).
Now I need to activate one of the login/user in the standby. I tried deleting this userlogin in the standby db — couldn’t delete. Tried creating a new user — failed.
Tried sp_change_users_login — failed. That user already exists in the db. So, I created a login in the standby server, and tried giving access — could’nt do it.[!]

Is there any other way of accessing this read-only-standby db apart from ‘sa’ login.
Any help appreciated.

bj
