Merge replication subscriber error: invalid cursor
These errors occur at the subscriber. First, "The merge process couldnot query the last sent and received generations" is generated, then
immediately afterwards, "invalid cursor state" is generated. We are
trying to pull a new subscription snapshot from the republisher. The
subscriber has been added and removed from the replusher’s pull
subscriptions a number of times for testing. Now, we cannot get the
subscriber to re-sync with the republisher. Any ideas?
The problem resulted from older pull subscription information strewn about the sysmerge* tables on the subscriber confusing the merge agent. Truncating these system tables solved the problems.
You need to re-apply the latest snapshot file from the publisher and copy it to the subscriber. xpthinker
