Hi all! I have been using the beta 2 of sql server reporting services for a while now, without any problem. Now I have downloaded the new release from msdn subscribers download and installed it. I have tried both to upgrade the beta 2, and to uninstall beta 2 and install the new release from scratch. The problem I’ve got is that whenever I try to build, deploy or preview a report or even just to close the Report Designer IDE (Microsoft Visual Studio .Net IDE) the following error message is displayed: "Method not found: Void Microsoft.DataWarehouse.Interfaces.MenuCommandEx.set_Input(System.Object[])" I just wonder why I’ve got this error and what to do about it. Regards,
/Mattias
If you manually add the file "C:program FilesMicrosoft SQL Server80ToolsReportDesignerMicrosoft.DataWarehouse.Interfaces.DLL" to the GAC ,does it work ? You can do this from Start&gt<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-4.gif’ alt=’;P’ />rograms&gt;Administrative Tools&gt;Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 Configuration. Click on Assembly Cache and choose Add an Assembly to the Cache<br /><br />HTH<br /><br />Jasper Smith

Not sure, I’ve had many builds on my PC but before installing the RTM I went through and deleted all folders and registry keys that looked like they had anything to do with Reporting Services and my RTM install was very smooth. You are not alone in this issue however [<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-2.gif’ alt=’:D‘ />]<br /><br />HTH<br /><br />Jasper Smith
