Monitoring Cluster errors

Hi,
What are the performance counters and errors which can be monitored to know whether a node is working perfectly in clustered envoirment.
For both Active/Active and Active/Passive Cluster

Is there is any counter especially dedicated to cluster
Hw Will I know that one node is down and other node has taken the resources perfectly to work.Which errors should I observe for this.
I don’t see there are any specific counters in the cluster, as per the SQL is concerned it is an usual installation. Follow the links above for the counters to monitor. Event viewer, SQL Server error log is the best bet to look for any warnings or issues.
