net send syntax

Hi All
if anyone knows what is wrong with this syntax:
i im in domain abcd
computer name long-1
login id is newlong i tried to send out the message through windows prompt. it always failed. the syntax i used is >net sent /abcd:newlong i’m sending message. *********the syntax for net send is
>net send /domain:name message. did i use wrong syntax? please give me a hint. thanks, Long

Hi,<br />you don’t need to give userid/login id <br />net send /domain<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-2.gif’ alt=’:d’ />omainname &lt;message&gt; will send a message to whole domain<br />in your case net send /domain:abcd &lt;message&gt;<br /><br />Regards<br /><br />Hemantgiri S.
