New to Clusters

I started a new job as a DBA/Programmer for this company and I inherited a SQL Cluster on W2k SP4, SQL 2000 SP3. I am having some recurring issues with the SQL Server Agent where it is running, but will not respond to xp_sendmail requests. I have to stop and start the service to make it work. I have previously done this through the services in the control panel of the active server. I just read on this site today that that is not the proper way to do it. I am unable to find out how to do this through the cluster administrator, and also would like to know how I can determine the details of the setup. Looking at the cluster administrator is helping a bit, but being new to clustering I am not sure what I am looking at. In cluster administrator, right-click on the resource you want to stop, and you can stop it and then restart it. This is true for any cluster resource. —————————–
