No puedo shrink el DataFile en SQL7
borre 30 Gb the Data que estan en dos tablas, pero antes pase toda la informacion que queria retener a otras 2 tablas nuevas, luego borre las 2 tablas estan muy grandes.El problema es que no puedo hacer que la DB baje su tamano, ya intente con Shrink DB etc etc. Hay alguna forma de solucionar este problema? El back-up de la db es mucho mas chico que la db, Gracias,

Lo primero que te tienes que fijar es el tipo de recuperaciòn de la base de datos.
Si la recuperaciòn es FULL tendrìas que hacer un backup completo y luego intentar el shrink. Otra forma serìa pasar de FULL a simple y luego realizar el shrink.
Recuerda que para esta tarea tienes que ser el ùnico utilizando la base en ese momento. Frank, Satya: From a Cyber, far away from home, thanks.
