ODBC ORACLE FAILURE

I have a DTS with the Source being ORACLE and the Destination being SQL. When I schedule the package it fails with the following error,
"HResult of 0x80004005(-2147467259) returned. Unexpected error occured. An error result was returned without an error message". When I run the package manually I have to double click the ODBC connection a few times and clcik OK to accept the error message and after a few times I can connect and then execute the package. Any suggestions?
Ensure you’re using correct driver and oracle client tools are installed on SQL server.
BTW what is the level of service pack on SQL & OS? _________

I do have the correct Oracle driver and my OS SP is 4 and I have no SQL SP so that could be the problem. I’ll install the SQL SP and see what happens. Watch this space.
Yes you must have latest service pack to deal with such issues in LS/DTS objects. _________
