Problem during deployment

Case description:
I follow the instructions in the installation manual of MS on:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2000/deploy/rsdepgd.mspx
customized for the Enterprise Edition, but, despite of what is described in the manual, during the installation Inever get a prompt asking me to define the Virtual Directory in IIS, or set the Service Account for the ReportServer, etc. The installation finishes (on screen msg: installation was successful). After the installation is through, I can#%92t see the ReportServer within the Services, neither the Report Site is up (it#%92s not even configured). The only difference between the configuration#%92s prerequisites and my server is that it has SP4 on SQL Server instead of the SP3a which is defined in the manual. 64-bit Server Configuation:
Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Entition x64 SP1
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 – 8.00.2039 (Intel X86) Enterprise Edition (Build 3790: Service Pack 1) SP4
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition SP2

Any information from log such as event viewer or RS related logs? Satya SKJ

Satya, thank you for your reply. I forgot to mention that in my previous post, no log files were created at all. In the windows event viewer there is no error related to the RS recorded. Is it maybe that the installation takes place on a x64 console? Is it a common issue maybe? I’ve installed RS many times during the past on x86 machines without any problem.
Ah, X64 environment is different to normal x86 ones. I would suggest to go thruhttp://www.microsoft.com/sql site and go thru the links for X64 related information. Satya SKJ
