Programmatic interface for OLAP object creation?

Hey I’m a student from germany and my english isn’t very well, so excuse me. My problem is that I’ve to work with MS Analysis Services and I can’t find a possibility to work with it, without using Analysis Manager.
I want to make desicion tree, but with the miningmodel-assitant I can’t set the parameter that contain the cutting of the tree, can I?
Also, I need to get informations and values from cubes and miningmodel in other application, but with the Analysis Manager I don’t see a possibility to do that.

Have you searched under books online for Analysis services in SQL Server.

Thank you, that’s right, but what I’m looking for is the to put this code into the Analysis Services. In an other forum I’ve read that on way is DSO, but I don’t know what it is and how I can find it. Do you know something about it? P.S. I know it is call Desicion Support Object and the code seems to be VB but that’s all.

Even I’m not aware completely about DSO, as you said its called Decision Support Object and you may also try searching under MS homepagehttp://www.microsoft.com/sql/evaluation/BI/default.asp over here for further references. HTH Satya SKJ
