QUERY REGARDING ANALYSIS SERVICES

i am trying to connect analysis services on remote computer (10/100 M)
i have time lapse of 20 sec while setting up the connection. PL SUGGEST SOLUTION TO REDUCE THE CONNECTION TIME.
Books online would give you more information about information on AS.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/dnsql2k/html/sql2k_connpooling.asp for information. Is it timing out or failing to process? Satya SKJ

Then check the netbios settings and lmhosts and ensure no issues on network. Satya SKJ

Hopefully. To be honest, I don’t deal with AS here, but I do collect KB links, so who knows….[<img src=’/community/emoticons/emotion-1.gif’ alt=’:)‘ />]<br /><br />–<br />Frank Kalis<br />Microsoft SQL Server MVP<br /<a target="_blank" href=http://www.insidesql.de>http://www.insidesql.de</a><br />Ich unterstütze PASS Deutschland e.V. <a target="_blank" href=http://www.sqlpass.de>http://www.sqlpass.de</a>) <br />

No, not really. The German translations of KB articles is poor, to say the least. To get accurate informations, I stick with the english originals.
