Replication configuration problem
Hi, I am not able to configure replication on my system. I’ve tried replication on SQl Server Developer edition on Win 2K Server. It was working. Now our N/W has changed and I am trying to configure it on SQL Server 2K developer edition running on M/S XP Pro. I tried running SQL Server & SQl Agent services on both Local Admin account and Doamin Admin account. In both at the end of configuration it is giving an erro which reads " Error 18483 : Could not connect to Server ‘M3’ because ‘distributor_admin’ is not defined as a remote login at the server." M3 is name of my system. Could any one please tell me what is the problem. Is it like that replication cannot be configured on XP system.
