Scheduling DTS Package

I am not able to Schedule DTS Package. But I am able to run it. I got the following error message when I scheduled DTS Package. Unable to read local eventlog (reason: The event log file has changed between read operations).

Check any other jobs / any user trying to access DTS package, thus event log changes for the package.

CHeck the job history for that scheduled DTS package for more information on this error.
Unable to read local eventlog error refers to be when the event viewer is getting purged and the SQL server services account doesn’t have proper privileges to write the events. Satya SKJ
