Script a DTS package

I am going to change a DTS package but I want to script current DTS to be able to recover it in case of an emergency. How can I script a DTS package? CanadaDBA
Far away from office, I remember that: Right click on job, script job.
I don`t remember if that work for all jobs or individual.

That will do the SQL Job which is scheduled for a package. Not possible until SQL 2005 is full fledged, in SQL 2k no easy task to script a dts package. http://www.nigelrivett.net/ScriptDTSProperties.html – script package properties. HTH Satya SKJ

I went to a half an hour meeting and when came back I had 4 replies! Amazing! Thanks.

A friend suggested right click on DTS and click on Versions. It seems SQL-Server maintains different versions of DTS package whenever it is saved. Having this feature, I can go back and reload previous DTS in case of an emergency. CanadaDBA
That helps if you can maintain(script) the DTS package on every modification affected. Satya SKJ
