Secure FTP

Does anyone know if sftp is supported by MS SQL 2000? I currently use the xp_cmdshell to call the ftp protocol to transfer files from a directory outside of our network to a local directory.

you could either wrap it up in a script .bat or create a custome DTS task.
There is no support in the DTS file transfer task for the sftp or scp protocols you can only use FTP or SMB
