SMTP Mail Task

Hello group,
anyone had any experience with SMTP Mail Task (beta 1) http://www.sqldev.net/dts/SMTPTask.htm)? I took a quick look at it and it looks pretty good but since it’s beta I’d like your feedback before possibly using it in a production environment.
