Snapshot error-21268

Hi Gurus, I have setup a Pubslisher,Distributor and Subscriber on 3 different boxes.
When I started the snapshot agent, I encountered following error …. [Microsoft SQL-DMO] Error 21268: [SQL-DMO]Row or column specified is outside
the range of the specified query result set. Please help. Very Ugrent Please thanks raj
First thing to check that the table definitions on the publisher and subscriber are matching. If the remote server is used as a subscriber then ensure proper name is used while setting up replication with access. Satya SKJ

It could be server aliasing issue…
run SELECT @@SEVERNAME on both servers and make you get the right result set…
Are you configured any aliases for these servers…

I have Sybase 12.5.4 running on the same box. When I am trying to connec to
the SQL Server 2000 using isql, I am getting connected to Sybase and not SQL Server 2000.
DO you think having Sybase on the Publisher box is causing the problem?
raj
ISQL is common between SYBASE & SQL Server, but in this case I suggest to use OSQL too that is left for backward compatibility. There is nothing carved on a stone that having SYBASE and SQL Publisher on same machine will have issues, there is much you need to dig out from event viewer logs & SQL error logs including the SYBASE logs for any warnings or issues.
