SQL on a SAN

Hello Folks,
My organization currently has SQL 2K on a single box. We are moving to a SAN where 2 blades will be dedicated to SQL. I have the basic steps outlined but I’m not sure that I have the sequence correct: 1.Upgrade from SQL Standard to Enterprise.
2.Install MSCS on SAN (Identify virtual server(s) that will be used.
3.Identify IP address that will be used.
4.Install Cluster Administrator??? (Win 2K or Win NT 4.0)
5.Create/Test instance of Failover Cluster.
6.Enable DTC.
7.Create standard users accounts in AD for both the Cluster service (admin group) and SQL service. Is this order correct? Am I missing any steps? Suggestions? Concerns? Warnings?

Have you read the SQL Server Clustering white paper from Microsoft? If not, then you need to. It has a very complete checklist. I personally wouldn’t be comfortable giving you any other version. MeanOldDBA

Will do. Thanks.
