SQL Server 2000 Cluster – failover problem

We have recently set up SQL Server 2000 cluster on two node Windows 2000 advanced
server with SAN as shared disk array. We have tested using following methods: 1. Manually move the cluster and SQL Server group.
2. Manually initiate the failure.
3. shutting down the nodes.
4. removing network connectivity. For all the above cases, the primary node failed over successfully. But when we remove the SAN connectivity, the primary node doesn’t failover
automatically. The owner of the resources still points to primary node. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem?
We experienced this same problem, and the fix in our case was an updated SAN driver. Also, it is very important that all of the harware used in the cluster be on Microsoft’s HCL as an approved cluster system (servers, san, etc.) —————————–
