Starting to build DW

Hi,
I ve a DB on sql server. Now wat should be my approach .should i follow bill inmon or ralph kimball architect.how about modelling(i ve to use only AS for this project)how about the denomalization and populating the dwh.etc. Shama "koi umeed nazar nahi aati, koi soorat nazar nahi aati, aati hai haal-e-dil par hansi, neend raat bhar nahi aati

-Shama,
Really good links provided by Satya,
Wou should read them all without missing any line.
Then decide about why you really need DW.
What kind of queries you will be firing.
Based on that design you cubes and required dimensions and measures.
so now i ve the fully normalized table from a database and i wana denormalize it for makiing it suitable for populating data in final dw.How can it be done?
Thanks Shama "koi umeed nazar nahi aati, koi soorat nazar nahi aati, aati hai haal-e-dil par hansi, neend raat bhar nahi aati

Hi Shama It seems you are barely getting your feet wet with DW/OLAP. There are many good books on the market for modeling DWs/DMs. Ralph Kimball has written a few, I have not read any from Inmon but am sure that they are just as helpful. "so now i ve the fully normalized table from a database and i wana denormalize it for makiing it suitable for populating data in final dw.How can it be done?" It would be misleading to try and solve this for you in one or two relplies. I would suggest you pick up a real good book or take a few courses on dimensional modeling before you start building maybe if your budget allows consider hiring a qualified consultant. In my opinion these are the only links that could provide helpful information to your current situation.
