Hello expert ! I want to do the merger replication between two databases located in diffent locationMy publisher having DSL connection and
Subcriber having dialup with a static ip(ex:213…..) In by publisher i registerd the subsriber with that static ip
and configured the merge subsription. When i run the replications i’m getting an error message
"The subsriptiuon to publication <db_name> is invalid"
and it says
"The remoter sertver is not configured as subcription database" what should i do ? very very urgent please. The same settings work when replicate between two database in the same network. Kalmazz
Have you got your second server set up as a "Remote Server"? Verify that and set up Merge replication using the Replication wizard. That’s an odd setup, will the dialup be constant? ———-
