Thinking in sets

Much of the content in Joe Celko’s latest book “Thinking in Sets”, is similar to content from his earlier books or from within the various communities which he participates.

What negatively stands out in comparison to earlier books, is the confusion of the content and the weak thematic relation of some of the chapters to the title of the book. This suggests that the content was put together in a hurry without appropriate editorial care.

Although this new work offers some good tips and tricks, it is cluttered with theories from a database purist.

It is advised to ensure the book meets requirements before purchasing.
