to create a SQL DTS package

I want to create a SQL DTS package to perform the following: – Users upload excel files periodically to server with the same column
– Once an excel file has been uploaded, need to read and validate the data
(combination of User_ID & Group_ID should be unique)
– then import data rom Excel to existing database,
inserting data if record is not present and
updating data if present
– errors need to be logged to database and emailed to user How can I achive this task…I m new to DTS…Pls guide me. Thanks in advance.
