TRN-log shipping
Hye my name is vasilisI have setup log_shipping succesfully My question is which trn files imported when we change the state of secondary(stand-by)server.
I have this question because i have disk space problem
I have set the schedule of trn filesbackup in 15 minutes So which file log_shipping needs to import log.
All the trn files in share directory/create directory or the last created file? THX
I suggest you to refer to the SQL SErver BOOKS ONLINE for Log shipping, role changes topics which explains all of your doubts. With regard to your question Log shipping will process the last created transaction log backup file from source server to target server by using SQLAgent job scheduler. Satya SKJ
