Unable to retrieve steps for Job

During Log shipping, one of my TLog backup Job is continuously gives this weird error. 1) I have defined this Job to run daily at frequency of 62min each.
2) Strangely it looks like the Job is also running in between. For example if the Job has to run first time at 5:00PM then at 6:02PM (Next Run time in EM), it runs in between at 5:47:15PM also with this error. JOB RUN: ‘Log Shipping-EDB-Transaction log backup at Primary Server’ was run on 4/17/2005 at 5:47:15 PM
DURATION: 0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds
STATUS: Failed
MESSAGES: The job failed. Unable to retrieve steps for job Log Shipping-EDB-Transaction log backup at Primary Server. 3) In Jobhistory, there is no record of any failure and no record of executing this Job at 5:47. But actually this job is getting triggered by SQLAgent and being notified to recipient with this error.Its execution frequency seems to be each 82mins. I tried everything I can to get any hint.
