Using subscriber as distributor

I have 2 servers that are going to replicate to a 3rd server that is doing the reporting. Is it a good idea to make this 3rd server the distributor for both other servers? So the reporting server is both distributor and subscriber. It is not a problem if the reporting gets a little slower, although not too much. I saw this question asked on the forum, but not answered. Hope someone can help me.

are all of the servers connected by a high-speed network? ie 100Mb or better? instinctively that sounds sensible to me Cheers
