SQL Server Performance

backing up on SQL 2000

    I have the following script that I need to modify or to understand better what it is actually doing:
    EXECUTE master.dbo.xp_sqlmaint N'-PlanID 66DFB806-5F8E-4BE8-8288-162CDA1D5782 -Rpt "n:system_db_dataMSSQL$ABMERCPS03LOGServerName_BACKUP4.txt" -DelTxtRpt 1WEEKS -WriteHistory -VrfyBackup -BkUpMedia DISK -BkUpDB "N:ServerNameBackupMSSQLUser_DB" -DelBkUps 2DAYS -BkExt "BAK"'
    Should I use something else rather than this?

    This job was created using EM wizard, Management, Database Maintenance Plan Wizard.
    Depending on options could be a Backup.
    I suppose you will find this job in your server.
